ERSTE PERSON SINGULAR
How Does Film Adaption Work?

We aksed ourselves that question in our "Research & Knowledge" course this semester. In order to find out more about this subject, my team and I did some research in the form of interviews and eventually the creation of a short film to get closer to our answer.
The Scenario

For our short film project we chose to adapt the short story "First Person Singular" by Haruki Murakami (2020).

My Role
Throughout this project, I worked on different tasks. I was writing the shotlist and sketching out the poster idea as well as the location scouting and the transportation of our equipment. For the research part, I conducted an interview regarding personal opinions on literature adaptions. Other than that I worked on the filming and post production itself by editing the material.
